About this Role:

The Department of Health Care Services is seeking a highly skilled Office Technician to join our team in the Behavioral Health Financing Branch. As an Office Technician, you will provide clerical support by exercising a high degree of initiative, independence, and originality in performing advanced journey-level duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compose and prepare documents, review and edit text materials, and perform data entry tasks.
  • Organize and maintain control over section files, including record retention, ordering section supplies and equipment, and answering phones.
  • Remediate and post information on the Department's website.
Requirements:
  • Able to type at a minimum speed as designated on the Class Specifications.
  • Must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming the ability to meet the minimum typing speed prior to being hired.
