Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team at Guardian Security Services, Inc. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional image at all times
  • Patrol premises, both indoors and outdoors, to detect and prevent potential security threats
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies in a timely and effective manner
  • Document and report all incidents and security breaches
  • Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure a secure and safe environment
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a valid Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) and be willing to obtain a 20-hour training certificate
  • Must have a 40-hour firearms training certificate and be able to obtain an Illinois Firearm Control Card (FAC card)
  • Must have a valid FOID card and own a weapon of the specified caliber
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
