Job Title: Auxiliary Security Officer

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Auxiliary Security Officer to join our team at Marksman Security. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties and personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Observation and Vigilance: Remain alert at all times, observing surroundings for signs of suspicious activity, potential threats, or disorderly conduct.
  • Access Control: Monitor access points, checking badges or identification to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises.
  • Emergency Response: Respond swiftly in case of emergencies, providing first aid or calling for help as needed.
  • Crime Prevention and Deterrence: Act as a visible deterrent against criminal activity, conducting patrols to prevent theft, vandalism, or other crimes.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of incidents, disturbances, or unusual occurrences.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, interacting with employees, visitors, and contractors in a professional and courteous manner.

Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid State BSIS California Guard Card
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Familiarity with report writing
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Monitoring and surveillance experience
  • Essential Computer Competencies
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
  • Comfortable with outdoor environment in diverse weather conditions
  • Previous security experience is a plus
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment background check and drug test
