Mental Health Technician

Green County, WI is seeking a highly skilled CSP Mental Health Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Community Support Program, you will play a vital role in providing psychosocial rehabilitation services to individuals with chronic mental illness.
Job Summary:The CSP Mental Health Technician will be responsible for providing supportive and educative services to clients, including psychiatric symptomatology, interpersonal/social opportunities, general medical/dental health, vocational rehabilitation, and case management. You will work closely with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, provide crisis intervention services, and document client progress in the permanent clinical record.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide psychosocial rehabilitation services to clients, including teaching activities of daily living, budgeting skills, and medication management.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including crisis plans and functional screens.
- Provide representative payee services, including managing funds, paying bills, and teaching budgeting skills.
- Perform suicide assessments and provide crisis intervention services as needed.
- Attend and participate in daily CSP interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science or a related field.
- Knowledge and understanding of Assertive Community Treatment and the implementation of treatment practices specific to a CSP serving persons with mental illness.
- Knowledge of the clinical symptoms of the major mental illness and their comprehensive effects on the client.
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and outside agencies.
