As a Trailer and SRI Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our trailers and vehicles are in optimal working condition. U-Haul is proud to offer a comprehensive Technician Training Program, which includes specialized classes from leading manufacturers. We equip you with the necessary tools and resources to excel in your role, while also providing mentorship from our experienced team members, fostering a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Secure trailers using lifts and dollies. Conduct maintenance on tires and braking systems. Rebuild and repair braking systems and trailer components. Perform tire dismounting, balancing, and mounting. Occasionally conduct road tests on vehicles. Operate within a production line setting. Utilize proprietary electronic pre-inspection and repair checklists. Collaborate with team members and assist in various tasks as directed by supervisors.

Minimum Qualifications:

Basic mechanical skills with 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred. Valid driver's license. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Basic computer proficiency. Consistent attendance.
