Job Description

This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of products into the warehouse, verifying the condition of incoming goods, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine and document the condition of products as they arrive, including any damage, overages, or shortages.
  • Direct outside carriers and contract unloaders on how to sort and segregate products.
  • Print pallet labels, enter purchase orders into the computer, and assign doors.
  • Comply with company work and safety rules, and maintain a quality of work that limits mispicks, shorts, and damages.
  • Work independently and in a team environment, and be trained and certified to operate any required equipment within 30 days after hire.
  • Comply with company attendance policy and maintain a flexible work schedule to meet the changing needs of the Distribution Center.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous receiving experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production standards.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp, and reach above the head continuously for a period of two hours or more.
