Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Professional to join our team at the Atlanta Postal Credit Union. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing small to medium-sized cross-functional strategic projects from initial scope and requirements gathering through implementation and after-action follow-ups.

Your Role

As a Strategic Project Coordinator, you will leverage project management best practices and processes to deliver outstanding results. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Delivering Exceptional Service: Provide fast, efficient, courteous, and friendly service to both internal and external members, aligning with our Service Promises.
  2. Project Management: Ensure completion of all assigned projects on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  3. Communication: Establish and agree upon project success criteria with project sponsors and stakeholders.
  4. Scheduling: Create, maintain, and manage project schedules, project charters, and other required or requested project documentation.
  5. Oversight: Manage project scope through documentation of project milestones and implementation plans.
  6. Reporting: Regularly report out to project sponsors and PMO managers on all project milestones.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree: In business administration, management, or a related field of study (or 2 years additional work experience in lieu of degree).
  • Project Management Experience: 2 years of experience in project management or a related field.
  • PMP Certification: Preferred.
  • Technical Competence: Proficient in MS Office products and project management software.
