The Risk Underwriter Quality Assurance Analyst is a critical position responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our underwriting processes. As a key member of our Underwriting Quality Assurance & Compliance Team, you will play a vital role in identifying and mitigating risks, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough audits of our underwriting processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement quality programs to drive continuous improvement and optimize underwriting processes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide trend analysis, identify recommendations for improvements, and assist with system enhancements.
- Support business compliance and risk initiatives, ensuring that our underwriting practices align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- College degree and insurance industry experience preferred.
- 2+ years of risk underwriter experience, preferably with multiple products, including life, STD, LTD, dental, vision, and supplemental health.
- Experience in audit/review and rating processes is a plus.
- Robust decision-making skills, including critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Strong communication and coaching skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and rating platforms, including CPS, Salesforce, Simon, BTR, AuditWell, and Tableau.

What We Offer- A competitive salary range of $66,000 to $108,640, depending on experience.
