In the role of Installation Energy Project Manager, you will leverage your consulting, analytical, and strategic skills to oversee projects for the Department of Defense (DoD). Your contributions will support a comprehensive array of installation energy programs, positioning you as a trusted advisor to our clients. You will be tasked with identifying, analyzing, and evaluating intricate systems, policies, and processes that enhance installation energy resilience.
Your leadership will guide our efforts in delivering solutions that maintain warfighting readiness and effectiveness by establishing energy-related policies and governance for programs that ensure resilient, efficient, clean, and cyber-secure energy for military forces, weapon systems, and installations.
Key Qualifications:
- Over 20 years of experience in energy project management.
- At least 10 years of experience managing programs or projects related to DoD utilities or energy, Federal Agency utilities or energy, or large-scale private sector utility systems.
- Proven experience in evaluating installation energy initiatives and fostering partnerships with industry stakeholders, utility companies, and public agencies to promote DoD energy goals.
- Experience in reviewing existing statutes, policies, guidance, and legislation relevant to installation energy.
- Strong understanding of DoD organizational structure and the Office of the Secretary of Defense's (OSD) energy program portfolio.
- Familiarity with legislative and policy frameworks governing installation energy.
- Ability to address program or project execution challenges, coordinate communications and meetings, manage project timelines, and assess gaps, impacts, and risks.
- Eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or Management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience at the OSD level is advantageous.
Security Clearance:
Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.

Compensation:
Compensation at Booz Allen is influenced by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The projected salary range for this position is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 annually. This range represents a typical salary for this role and is part of Booz Allen's total compensation package.
