**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Additive 3D Technician to join our team at RGBSI. As a key member of our additive manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art 3D printing equipment, ensuring high-quality parts are produced efficiently and effectively.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Operate and maintain additive manufacturing equipment, including software pre-processing and post-processing steps.
  • Post-process additive manufacturing parts, including gluing, sanding, cleaning, and/or modifying plastic parts.
  • Operate hand tools and maintain workshop machinery and laboratory equipment.
  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed and monitor stock levels in the laboratory.

**Requirements:**

  • Previous experience in the rapid prototyping industry is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including problem-solving and customer handling.
  • Computer skills, attention to detail, and critical-thinking skills are essential.
  • Experience working in 3D CAD, particularly CATIA, and proficiency in Magics or other AM software is required.
  • Basic understanding of part finishing techniques and ability to complete tasks with moderate supervision in a timely manner.
  • Basic understanding of part cleaning and curing processes.
  • Measure parts using applicable tools and software and report results.
  • Basic math skills, familiar with the metric system.
  • Excellent communication and phone skills.
  • Proficiency with Windows and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Perform lower-level periodic maintenance on all RP equipment.
  • Calibrate and maintain workshop and laboratory equipment.
  • Hands-on use of in-house rapid prototyping systems.
