Water/Wastewater Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team at Stantec. As a key member of our water business, you will play a critical role in delivering sustainable solutions to ensure water is where it should be and available when needed.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Apply your knowledge of water supply, distribution, and treatment systems, as well as sewerage networks and wastewater treatment systems, to design and develop innovative solutions.
  • Perform calculations and analyses using company-standard software and proprietary manufacturer software to optimize water/wastewater system components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare designs, drawings, specifications, presentations, and reports that meet project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, engineering standards, and practices by interpreting and verifying design decisions.
  • Work closely with senior engineers and other professionals to coordinate project activities and provide support services during construction.
  • Perform field work related to construction activities as required.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with an emphasis on Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Possess EIT certification and a minimum of two years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Develop and apply strong problem-solving skills, creativity, collaboration, and innovation to drive project success.
  • Excel in communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse team environments.
