Pediatric Nurse Specialist

The Pediatric Nurse Specialist will provide comprehensive care for infants in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). This role involves active participation in daily NICU rounds alongside the attending physician, ensuring high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver complete care for neonates in the NICU, including monitoring and managing treatment plans.
- Occasionally cover newborns and assist in stabilizing infants, collaborating with the attending physician for necessary transfers to advanced care facilities.
- Attend high-risk deliveries and provide immediate care as required.
- Conduct independent and physician-supervised rounding, including medication management.
- Facilitate patient education on medical processes, nutrition, and health promotion.
- Perform physical examinations and episodic care under physician supervision.

Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner or a Master's in Nursing with completion of a post-master's Nurse Practitioner Certification Program is required.
