Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team at Specialist Office. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a doctor's office, with CPR certification and proficiency in taking manual blood pressure. Key responsibilities include collecting specimens, completing request forms for diagnostic testing, and providing physical care as directed by providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collecting specimens, including blood, stool, and genetic testing samples
  • Completing request forms for diagnostic testing
  • Providing physical care and carrying out providers' orders
  • Reviewing lab results and communicating instructions to patients
  • Managing office lab equipment and ordering supplies
  • Assisting with prescription calls and E-scribe management
  • Supporting patient education and inventory management
  • Administering subcutaneous and intramuscular injections

Requirements

The successful candidate must have experience working in a fast-paced medical environment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. A competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year is offered, commensurate with experience.
