About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audio Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As a key member of our supply chain organization, you will be responsible for managing the audio supply chain to support Ford in delivering leading audio products and features.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a commercial and technology strategy for Ford's audio products, collaborating with key stakeholders including Engineering and Marketing.
  • Manage the audio supply chain to reduce risk and minimize cost, developing and executing sourcing strategies with industry-leading partners.
  • Become an expert in automotive audio, including industry trends, competitor offerings, emerging technology, manufacturing processes, risk mitigation strategies, and commercial dynamics.
  • Strengthen existing supplier partnerships and develop new supplier relationships to better align with and influence supplier technology roadmaps.
  • Build executive-level relationships across the industry to understand and influence key trends.
  • Proactively influence the cross-functional team to drive the best outcome for Ford, guiding and mentoring peers on the supply chain team.
  • Champion continuous improvement activities and challenge legacy ways of doing business.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Chemical or Industrial) or Business/Supply Chain.
  • Prior experience leading teams and managing people or demonstrated ability to mentor and influence others.
  • 6+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Sales.
  • 2+ years of experience with the Electronics industry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Chemical or Industrial) or Business/Supply Chain.
  • Negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to reach closure on complex and ambiguous issues.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and grow individuals.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to seamlessly transition from bottom-up details to concise, clear executive messaging.
  • Proactive and resourceful with the ability to navigate across an organization to obtain alignment and get things done.
  • Ability to translate high-level strategy to tactical execution.
