  • Stays informed on technological advancements and emerging standards that present new opportunities.
  • Provides essential support for the development, configuration, management, and documentation of systems that fulfill mission requirements, including software design documentation and user manuals.
  • Creates, maintains, and enhances intricate software systems, analyzing user needs to inform software design and performance criteria. Troubleshoots existing software and develops new features as necessary.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of experience, Master's degree with 3-5 years, or PhD with 0-2 years.
  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance.
  • IAT III Certification is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated capability to design and implement complex algorithms while adhering to strict timing and resource constraints.
  • Proven experience collaborating with systems and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and understand project limitations and capabilities.
  • Ability to coordinate software installations and monitor equipment performance to ensure operational specifications are achieved.
  • Experience in developing applications or software that provide tailored data solutions within a Splunk environment.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity operations, including networks and associated technologies such as routers, firewalls, and cross-domain solutions.
  • Knowledge of data modeling/tagging, target/entry management, and cybersecurity taxonomies.
  • Understanding of information security principles and architecture.
  • Experience in Splunk engineering is essential.

Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000, reflecting the typical compensation for this role based on experience and other relevant factors.
