About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care to critically ill patients, utilizing your strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status, determine priority of patient problems and needs, and implement clinical nursing interventions to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Conduct and analyze initial and ongoing patient assessment, create a plan of care, implement treatment, and evaluate treatment effectiveness
  • Anticipate and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions, utilizing clinical judgment and clinical inquiry to take immediate and decisive action
  • Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and the organization's policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (preferred, not required)
  • ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support (required within 6 months of hire)
  • 1 year of RN experience (required)
  • 6 months RN experience in a Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or Emergency Department Unit (preferred)
