Position Overview:
Acuren Inspection is actively seeking skilled Phased Array Technicians to enhance our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing (NDT) apparatus.
2. Execute tests to ensure quality and identify discontinuities (defects) using various NDT inspection methods.
3. Develop techniques for thorough examination of inspected objects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
4. Apply testing criteria in line with relevant specifications or standards and assess results.
5. Organize and document test outcomes.
6. Conduct specialized inspections as required.
7. May provide instruction and oversight to other personnel.
8. Undertake additional job-related tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications:
- Certified Phased Array Level II Technician (TOFD Credentials & Fracture Mechanics Experience preferred).
- Ability to successfully complete a site Performance Demonstration Qualification (PDQ) as mandated by client Level III.
- Per diem available for eligible candidates.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred.
- NDT Level II UT Phased Array Certification is essential.
- EPRI certification or willingness to obtain.
- Technical expertise in NDT methods and procedures with a minimum of five years of phased array experience.
- Proven ability to effectively execute assigned NDT tasks and interpret inspection results.
- Familiarity with NDT equipment is required.
