Currently, ManTech is in search of a dedicated, career-oriented Project Manager with a strong IT background and a successful track record in managing projects throughout their lifecycle. The ideal candidate will oversee all facets of various IT projects, typically involving multiple disciplines within the IT sector. At advanced levels, you may utilize scrum master techniques within Agile development methodologies. You will supervise the daily operations of technicians and/or production teams, establishing priorities to ensure task completion and coordinating work activities with other supervisors. Your decisions will be informed by policies, procedures, and customer process guidelines, with guidance and oversight from management. A solid understanding and application of procedures and practices within your area, along with average knowledge of other areas, is essential. Recognizing how your team interacts with closely related teams will enhance efficiency. You will have supervisory responsibilities, setting priorities and coaching associates to meet deadlines. Use your judgment to identify and address day-to-day issues, impacting service levels and the team's ability to achieve quality, volume, and timeliness objectives. Your actions will be guided by local business needs and established practices, employing tact and diplomacy to communicate information and address sensitive matters.
A highly successful candidate will possess a PMP certification and project management experience in delivering multiple IT services, including connectivity, networking, video teleconferencing, AVMM, cabling, telephony, LMR, desktop services, and more, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency and exceptional organizational skills across various technology disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the implementation of single or multiple projects simultaneously to ensure project goals are met according to CDRL/SOW requirements.
- Create CDRLs, templates, forms, and spreadsheets as necessary to support project requirements and task processing.
- Conduct project requirements reviews, collaborating with customers to establish delivery milestones and develop communication schedules.
- Schedule and facilitate kick-off, milestone, and closeout meetings with customers.
- Prepare and write technical documentation, presentations, and other materials in support of projects and the program.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, managers, and customers to understand and document project scope and parameters for initiation and implementation. Identify project responsibilities, timelines, and delegate phases and elements to the appropriate individuals.
- Act as the liaison between customers, engineering teams, vendors, logistics, field technicians, and other project leads to coordinate site visits, order components, and deliver bills of materials.
- Utilize standard methods and procedures to track and maintain timely and complete documentation of project work, schedule changes, scope, and resource requirements.
- Assist with the submission and tracking of project documentation such as outage requests, site survey planning, logistical support, security acquisition efforts, travel plans, power, space, and cooling reviews, architecture control boards, and engineering review boards.
- Employ workflow processes to update project and project-related tickets in the ServiceNow ticketing tool.
- Regularly report project progress to the customer, Frame Lead, and other stakeholders, making them aware of any issues that could significantly impact schedules, costs, and scope.
- Travel to sites as necessary to support project requirements.
- Support refresh requirements and other program needs as required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet project objectives.
- A minimum of four years of project management experience.
- A four-year degree is generally required, but can be substituted with additional experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interface with customers daily and explain complex technical topics to both internal and external stakeholders with ease.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of hands-on hardware deployment experience supporting network, end-user, conference room, and other IT services.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must possess a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph.
