Rock House is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our Human Resources department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing personnel-related documentation, reviewing employment applications, and compiling reports. You will also provide exceptional customer service to employees and management, ensuring a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and verify personnel-related documentation, including staffing and recruitment records.
  • Review and evaluate employment applications to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Compile and prepare reports on personnel activities, including staffing and training.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees and management, addressing human resources-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Communicate with public services and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Assist with initial orientation for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Perform recordkeeping and other support duties related to workers' compensation claims and associated payments.
  • Investigate and authorize medical treatment for injured workers, communicating with supervisors, HR, and Labor as needed.
  • Assist employees with workers' compensation processes, providing clear and concise information.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2-3 years of responsible office experience, preferably in HR.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Self-directed and able to work independently.
