Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Radiation Oncology team at UW Health. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and supporting our Radiation Oncologists in delivering exceptional treatment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examination and assist with treatments and office procedures.
  • Promote healthy lifestyles, wellness, and education.
  • Provide administrative support to the Radiation Oncology team.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Minimum - High School Diploma or equivalent and ONE of the following:
  • Completion of an accredited medical assistant program OR
  • Licensure as an LPN OR
  • Completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program OR
  • Attainment of the CCMA certification as a UWH employee OR
  • Acceptance into the UWH MA Apprenticeship Program - Accelerated OR
  • One year of recent Medical Assistant experience and CMA, RMA or CCMA Certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN
