We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our Audit Analytics team at Capital One. As a Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and innovation by leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business outcomes
  • Design and develop machine learning models to analyze large datasets and identify trends and patterns
  • Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement data pipelines and architectures
  • Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and methodologies to drive innovation and improvement
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or related field
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases
  • Knowledge of natural language processing and text analytics
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
