Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Raton, New Mexico.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a rural Critical Access Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Labor and Delivery, with experience in LDRP units and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Participate in unit-specific education and training programs to stay up-to-date on best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting teamwork, respect, and open communication.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery, with a strong background in LDRP units.
  • Current RN licensure in New Mexico.
  • ACLS, NRP, BLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Experience with Cerner EMR system.
