Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Raton, NM.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing individualized care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to laboring women, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the physician.
  • Assist with deliveries, including fetal monitoring and newborn care.
  • Provide education to patients and their families on postpartum care and newborn care.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and push/pull equipment as needed.
