Job Summary:

Focus Staff is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team of traveling healthcare professionals. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting, including assessing, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Develop and implement educational programs to promote patient understanding and empowerment.
  • Manage patient flow and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient and safe care delivery.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
