Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage the pre-construction and construction phases of OSP projects, ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality delivery.
  • Supplier Management: Oversee third-party pre-construction and construction suppliers to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Crew Supervision: Supervise construction crews to guarantee adherence to safety standards and quality expectations.
  • Project Meetings: Participate in project meetings to provide support and ensure effective project execution.
  • Schedule Management: Manage and meet pre-construction and construction schedules and due dates.
  • Budget Management: Ensure project budgets are met and maintained.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and assure construction work quality and crew safety.
  • Change Management: Manage, document, and record construction field changes.
  • Invoice Verification: Verify supplier invoices match the work performed in the field and ensure contractual specifications are met.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with a focus on outside plant, fiber optics, and project management.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Earth, and AutoCAD.
  • Travel: Some local travel may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Optical Ground Wiring Experience: Experience with Optical Ground Wiring is a plus.
