Position Overview
As an Educational Support Specialist with The Menta Group, your primary role will involve collaborating with educators and staff to provide focused instruction and assistance to students within the classroom environment, as well as offering general support to all students throughout the school.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage student behavior effectively
- Report any behavioral issues to the appropriate personnel
- Implement and uphold behavioral program policies and maintain accurate data
- Ensure classroom safety and order
- Provide supervision to students within the school setting
- Assist in preventing and managing incidents of non-compliance and behavioral escalation
- Remain vigilant for potential disruptions to the educational process or safety concerns, addressing and reporting these conditions promptly
- Respond to emergency situations as needed
- Offer interventions to students to help manage their behaviors
- Demonstrate quick, independent, and tactful decision-making skills

Qualifications
- Background in Security or Juvenile Justice is advantageous
- Military Veterans are encouraged to apply
- Ability to remain composed under stress
- Flexibility to adapt to changing routines
- Minimum age of 23
- Experience working with high-risk special needs students is preferred
- A valid driving record and willingness to operate a student van is strongly preferred
