Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Helpdesk Specialist to join our team at TEKsystems. As a Helpdesk Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our employees, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and maintaining the integrity of our IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network
- Maintain and update knowledge base articles and documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve IT systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure IT systems are running smoothly
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience working with a helpdesk ticketing system
- Microsoft Windows environment focused, with Mac experience a plus
- Ability to move between different types of support, including on-site and remote support
- Some hardware experience
- Level 3 agent position, including taking calls, emails, chats, and managing various queues
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of Windows, Linux, and MacOS Server implementation and administration
- Expertise with Windows and Mac desktop environments
- Advanced knowledge of Active Directory and Active Directory Azure environments
- Experience with PowerShell scripting
- Experience with Networking (Meraki preferred)
- Anti-Virus experience
- Surveillance applications, analog and IP cameras, and DVRs a plus
