Senior Process Engineer

FormFactor is seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team in Livermore, CA. As a key member of our backend wafer processing fab, you will be responsible for sustaining, improving, and developing our processes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sustain and improve existing processes and equipment, including polymer deposition, dry etching, metal deposition and etching, and inspection QA.
  • Develop specialized tooling for handling and processing of our devices.
  • Lead installation and qualification of new tools for wafer fab expansion.
  • Define, design, and execute experiments to test new processes, materials, and structures.
Requirements:
  • BS in engineering, physics, or materials science; MS or PhD preferred.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a HVM wafer fab.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in systematic problem solving and debugging of process and tool issues.
  • Experience in statistical process control (SPC) methodologies in a manufacturing environment.

  • Competitive salary range: $136,200 - $178,815.
