Sr. Process/Equipment Engineer

FormFactor, Inc. is a leading supplier of semiconductor test and measurement products that power electronic systems used in computing, consumer technology, automotive, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and other applications.

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Process/Equipment Engineer to join our team in Livermore, CA. As a key member of our backend wafer processing fab, you will be responsible for sustaining, improving, and developing our processes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Lead the installation and qualification of new tools for wafer fab expansion
  • Define, design, and execute experiments to test new processes, materials, and structures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve process and tool issues
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and training materials
Requirements:
  • BS in engineering, physics, or materials science; MS or PhD preferred
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a HVM wafer fab
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in systematic problem-solving and debugging of process and tool issues
  • Experience in statistical process control (SPC) methodologies in a manufacturing environment
