About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled RN First Assistant to join our surgical team at Providence St. Jude Medical Center. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our surgical services.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons during surgical procedures, providing expert care and support to patients.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient surgical processes.
  • Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care, providing education and support to patients and families.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of surgical protocols and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate from nursing school with a diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Current California Registered Nurse License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • Three years of diversified perioperative nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of diversified RNFA experience.
