About the Role

We are seeking a skilled RN First Assistant to join our team at Providence St. Jude Medical Center. As a key member of our surgical team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our surgeons during procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons during operations, ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Provide perioperative care to patients, including pre-op, intra-op, and post-op support
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient procedures
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and new technologies
Requirements
  • Graduate from nursing school with a diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Current California Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification
  • Three years of diversified perioperative nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of diversified RNFA experience
