Core Responsibilities
The After School Program Educator will be tasked with supporting students in their academic endeavors, preparing additional materials and engaging activities. Responsibilities include assigning tasks, providing constructive feedback, and working closely with students to promote their academic success.
Key Duties
- Assess the strengths and weaknesses of assigned students using pre-assessment tools.
- Engage students in various academic activities, including reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics.
- Ensure a safe, healthy, and organized learning environment.
- Guide students by assigning homework and providing timely feedback.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of student progress.
- Encourage the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Offer individualized support through tutorials and one-on-one meetings as needed.
- Evaluate student performance through participation, assignments, and assessments.
- Assist with logistical tasks such as setup, cleanup, and meal service as required.
- Prepare enrichment lessons when applicable.
- Implement classroom rules and disciplinary measures as necessary.
- Perform tasks essential to achieving the objectives of the Youth Program.

Educational Background
