POSITION:
The Tustin Fyzical Fall Prevention Center and ENT Sinus & Allergy is looking to enhance its audiology services with a dedicated professional.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conducts Diagnostic Assessments:
    • Administers Tympanometry, comprehensive Audiological Evaluations, ETD assessments, and acoustic reflex threshold and tone decay evaluations.
    • Offers amplification services, including hearing aid evaluations, real ear measurements, and live speech mapping.
    • Interprets and coordinates test outcomes.
    • Consults with physicians regarding hearing disorders and provides recommendations.
    • Diagnoses audio-vestibular disorders based on assessment results.
    • Collaborates with healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
    • Documents patient interactions and sends detailed reports to referring and primary care physicians.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's or Doctorate Degree in Audiology
  • SAC Certification or eligibility for certification
  • California dispensing license or eligibility for licensure

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Regularly involves sitting, using hands, bending, reaching, and twisting.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds may be required.
  • Involves standing and walking throughout the workday.
  • The work environment is typically quiet, with moderate noise from office equipment.
