Job Title: CAD Specialist

At Symbiotic Corp., we are seeking a skilled CAD Specialist to oversee various CAD projects, including creating and managing foam patterns, maintaining the cover database, and offering frame design support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support cover technicians in setting up and maintaining cover files and Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Develop and design foam patterns, providing drafted specifications for foam suppliers.
  • Coordinate with foam vendors and provide necessary instructions.
  • Maintain plywood and chipboard database in Nester, synchronizing drawing layers with Komo tools.
  • Assist customer service with configuration layouts, dimensions, and warranty-related recuts.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, including Nester maintenance, production recuts, and MDF conversions.

Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in pattern making and relevant software packages (AutoCAD, Solid Works, etc.).
  • 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Associates Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Furniture industry experience.
  • 3D CAD knowledge.
