Job Title: MRI Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team at Professional Performance Development Group, Inc. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients correctly for examinations and make technical adjustments as needed.
  • Determine if any special patient preparation is required.
  • Process digital images and submit them for interpretation by radiologists.
  • Document all procedures and maintain records.
  • Initiate repair call procedures for equipment malfunctions.
  • Perform an inventory of assigned exam rooms to ensure adequate supply quantities and valid expiration dates.
  • Adhere to infection control guidelines and practice universal precautions.
  • Perform Intravenous puncture on patients requiring IV contrast.
Requirements:
  • Completed and graduated from a program of MRI education as recommended by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiological Education (JRCERT).
  • Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support: Possess a current BLS certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Possess current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Registered MR Technologist (R.T.MR (ARRT)).
  • Experience: Possess current experience as an MRI Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of full-time experience. Technologists must have working experience with GE and Siemens MRI scanners.
Working Conditions:

The MRI Technologist will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of patient interaction. The technologist must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision. The technologist must also be able to lift and move patients as needed.
