About Flexblue Staffing: We are currently seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for identifying, assessing, and advising on risks arising from the workplace or work processes, recommending measures to eliminate or minimize and control the risks and implementing the measures on health, safety, and environment (HSE). The role holder shall ensure the workplace is safe, healthy, and free of risks to the environment and our community. Complying with all statutory regulations to keep employees, contractors, customers, and environment safe shall be the primary responsibility.
About the Role: Work Experience: 8 to 10 years of experience in Environmental health and safety management in a manufacturing or industrial setting. In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations & standards will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of industrial work processes and best practices at facility and on-site locations.
- Knowledge of safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment.
- Knowledge of Industrial Product portfolio especially in rotating equipment/Power Plant domain (preferably Steam Turbine).
- Knowledge of Business / industry trends, emerging market trends, Customer behavior/ expectations, competitor overview.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
