Automation Systems Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Engineer to join our team in the Energy industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining automated system controls to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automation systems to optimize energy production and consumption.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain automated systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and implement human-machine interfaces to improve system usability and operator experience.
  • Develop and implement control logic for automated systems to enhance system functionality and efficiency.
  • Utilize robotics technology to enhance automated system performance and efficiency.
  • Work with distributed control systems to manage and control various processes within the energy industry.
  • Implement process automation to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems associated with automated systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement system improvements.
  • Document all processes and system changes for future reference and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in automation systems engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of automation, human-machine interface, control logic, troubleshooting, robotics, distributed control systems, process automation, and electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
  • Strong knowledge of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in automation systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to make informed decisions quickly.
