Ultrasonic Testing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ultrasonic Testing Technician to join our team at Laboratory Testing Inc. (LTI). As a key member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for performing ultrasonic inspection and testing of materials, ensuring accuracy and compliance to test requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasonic inspection and testing of materials as assigned by the Ultrasonic Testing Supervisor.
- Follow all applicable and required specifications and procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance to test requirements.
- Ensure that the test equipment and instruments are functioning properly and in calibration prior to performing any tests.
- Unpack materials received for testing and repackages the materials for shipping after testing has been completed.
- Accurately and legibly serialize all material and marks rejected areas when applicable to ensure accurate traceability to the ultrasonic test chart recording.
- Communicate job details to fellow ultrasonic technicians and department Supervisor as needed.
- Meet testing schedule as directed by department Supervisor and communicate if issues arise that may jeopardize testing deadlines.
- Assist with maintaining test equipment, which includes cleaning of equipment and performing preventative maintenance as scheduled.
- Understand and comply with LTI's QA Program at all times.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Mechanical and mathematical aptitude required.
- Excellent attention to detail required.
- Must be able to obtain a forklift operator certification.
- Ability to learn how to operate ultrasonic testing equipment, measuring instruments, hand tools, power saws, overhead cranes, and forklifts are all utilized.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder.
