Principal Scientist, Clinical Research, Gynecological Malignancies

Merck Sharp & Dohme (MSD) is seeking a highly skilled Principal Scientist to lead clinical research activities in gynecological malignancies. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and directing clinical trials, managing research teams, and collaborating with cross-functional groups to advance the development of new oncology medicines.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate pre-clinical and translational work to generate early clinical development plans and Investigational New Drug applications
- Develop clinical development strategies for investigational or marketed oncology drugs
- Plan and execute clinical trials, including study design, operational plans, and settings
- Monitor and manage the conduct of ongoing or new clinical trials
- Analyze and summarize clinical findings to support decisions regarding safety and efficacy
Requirements
- M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree
- Experience in industry or academia
- Demonstrated record of scientific scholarship and achievement
- Proven track record in clinical medicine and background in biomedical research
