Role Overview:

The Ground Support Equipment Technician is tasked with ensuring that all ground support equipment is operational and maintained within a timely manner to facilitate the aircraft maintenance operations. This role involves conducting routine maintenance and preventive checks on all ground support machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute all assigned tasks in compliance with AerSale policies.
  • Adhere to current maintenance protocols while performing duties.
  • Diagnose, repair, overhaul, and modify ground support equipment. Utilize testing tools and relevant manuals to identify issues. Remove, test, repair, or replace components such as carburetors, governors, and ignition systems. Adjust tolerances for valves, bearings, and other critical parts.
  • Operate and assess ground equipment performance. Replace necessary components including bearings, bushings, and wiring.
  • Document all maintenance activities thoroughly.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations during all maintenance work.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Carry out additional tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 1 year of mechanical or maintenance experience is required.
