Position Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality nursing care by:
  • Upholding the organization's mission and values in all interactions.
  • Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations related to patient care and safety.
  • Conducting thorough patient assessments and developing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate care.
  • Demonstrating clinical skills appropriate to the patient population.
  • Supervising and evaluating the care provided by nursing staff.
  • Documenting all nursing assessments and interventions accurately.
  • Identifying and responding to potential emergencies effectively.
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families.
  • Continuously assessing and adjusting care plans based on patient feedback.
  • Maintaining a safe environment by adhering to established protocols.
  • Participating in ongoing education and training opportunities.
  • Assisting in the orientation of new nursing staff.
  • Performing additional duties as required to meet the needs of the department.

Qualifications

Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program. Newly employed RNs are required to possess a BSN or be prepared to complete their BSN within three years of hire.

Licensure: Must hold a valid RN license in the state. CPR certification is required upon hire or must be obtained within 60 days.

Experience: No prior experience is necessary.
