About The Role
As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Trinity Health, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality nursing care. You will be responsible for executing, directing, and documenting the nursing process in alignment with established care standards and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act. Our RNs are dedicated advocates for patients, ensuring a secure environment for all.
Key Responsibilities

- Conducts thorough patient assessments through data collection and interpretation.
- Formulates comprehensive care plans addressing patient needs.
- Facilitates communication among patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
- Demonstrates proficiency in providing age-appropriate care.
- Oversees and evaluates the care provided by nursing team members.
- Accurately documents nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses.
- Identifies potential emergencies and initiates appropriate actions.
- Provides education to patients and families regarding care and treatment.
- Continuously assesses and adjusts care plans based on patient feedback.
- Ensures a safe environment by adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Participates in mandatory training, staff meetings, and ongoing education as required.
- Assists in the orientation of new staff members.
- Performs additional duties as necessary based on workload or staffing needs.
Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited RN program. Newly employed RNs are required to possess a BSN or commit to completing their BSN within three years of hire.
Licensure: Must hold a valid RN Indiana License. CPR certification is required upon hire or must be obtained within 60 days.
Experience: No prior experience is necessary.
