- Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards for documentation.
- Crisis Intervention:
- Respond to client crises with appropriate interventions, including risk assessment for harm to self or others.
- Develop safety plans and make referrals for higher levels of care when necessary.
- Client Discharge:
- Prepare discharge summaries that outline the client's progress, ongoing needs, and any follow-up recommendations.
- Coordinate referrals to external providers, community resources, or aftercare services as appropriate.
- Professional Development:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical research, interventions, and techniques in the mental health field.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
- Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Active state licensure as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent.
- Proven experience in clinical therapy, assessments, and treatment planning.
- Strong understanding of DSM-5 diagnoses and evidence-based treatment modalities.
