We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Associate I to join our Materials Release department, where you will play a critical role in ensuring that inventory used for manufacturing is sufficient to support multiple manufacturing processes.

As a Quality Control Associate I, you will be responsible for releasing materials for production following SOPs and GMP, ensuring sufficient quantity of materials are provided for production activities in a timely manner, and performing inventory assessments at multiple sites.

You will also assist with data collection and analysis, review process improvements that support the project, and read and review SOPs, test forms, and associated documents.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Release materials for production following SOPs and GMP
  • Ensure sufficient quantity of materials are provided for production activities in a timely manner
  • Perform inventory assessments at multiple sites
  • Assist with data collection and analysis
  • Review process improvements that support the project
  • Read and review SOPs as they apply to the QC group
  • Read and review test forms and associated documents
  • Read and review release forms and associated documents
  • Move materials within the building
  • Communication with vendors/other departments
  • Other responsibilities as needed

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required with 0-2 years of experience, or high school diploma with 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • 1+ year of general lab experience in material testing preferred
  • Experience in materials management, inventory control systems, and customer service desired
  • Team-player
  • Good organizational skills
  • General computer skills including Microsoft Office software
  • General lab skills or science background desired

Compensation Data:

The pay range for this position is $25.00. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
