Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of our 2nd shift team, ensuring seamless execution of our warehouse and inventory management services.
  • Collaborate with our GM partners to resolve any issues that may arise, including downtime, service complaints, and run plan changes.
  • Lead and develop our supervisors and hourly personnel, providing daily accountability, hiring, firing, training, and disciplinary action as needed.
  • Oversee a clean and safe work environment, ensuring all documents and supporting details are intact for all inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Communicate effectively with our 3rd shift team, ensuring they are informed of any issues that may impact their shift.
  • Manage our BPD board process, KPIs, and safety metrics, ensuring we meet our daily and monthly targets.
  • Participate in our VAS audit process and GM SOT audit process, ensuring we maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement projects, updating processes and implementing new ones to streamline our operations.
  • Be a team player, willing to jump in and work all positions within the plant as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Strong background in inventory management and logistics.
  • Proficiency in supply chain operations and control.
  • Experience in overseeing distribution centers and warehouse management.
  • Ability to analyze root causes and implement solutions.
  • Knowledge of transportation management and category management practices.
