About the Role

Citizens is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our branch team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and helping our customers achieve their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers in our lobbies and provide personalized advice and solutions to meet their needs
  • Demonstrate how to use our mobile app, ATMs, and other digital technologies to complete simple transactions
  • Create amazing experiences for our customers by looking for opportunities to help them achieve their financial goals
  • Meet quarterly referral goals and confidently cash checks, process withdrawals and deposits
  • Follow all financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling, state and local laws and regulations

Required Qualifications

  • High School degree or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance and develop a long-term customer relationship
  • Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues
  • Customer-centric to deliver exceptional service
  • Comfortable with using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals
  • Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings
  • Completion of a video interview assessment as part of the application

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • 6 months of experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments)
  • Motivates others, like teammates, business partners, and specialists, through collaboration
  • Process-oriented, energetic, detail-oriented and ability to multitask effectively

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 30
  • Work Schedule: Varies with branch needs and may include weekends and evenings
