Job Opportunity

Adecco is currently recruiting for a skilled Receptionist/ Administrative Assistant to join their team in the West Salem, Ohio area. This role combines front-desk responsibilities with administrative tasks, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and efficient office operations.

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20.00, Monday to Friday (8am-4:30pm), with benefits packages including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401K, and training programs available through Adecco.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to various departments by preparing and editing correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting visitors professionally, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain a well-organized workspace by overseeing filing systems and ordering supplies.
  • Facilitate smooth interdepartmental communication and manage incoming mail, routing inquiries to the appropriate departments.
  • Schedule appointments, reserve meeting spaces, and assist in organizing interdepartmental events, including preparing agendas and materials.
  • Contribute to website maintenance to ensure information is current and relevant.
  • Collaborate with team members on various projects to enhance office efficiency.
  • Assist in implementing new systems and procedures, ensuring smooth transitions across departments.
  • Liaise with external vendors for office services and maintenance of equipment.
  • Exercise good judgment in escalating issues as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or in a similar role.
  • Strong phone etiquette and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with office equipment.
  • Customer service-oriented with a polished, professional demeanor.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and prioritize effectively.
  • Clean driving record for use of company vehicles.
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
