Position Summary: This role is essential in the planning and execution of acquisition logistics strategies, processes, and tools. Under general supervision, the incumbent will contribute to fulfilling customer requirements and objectives, ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the formulation of acquisition logistics strategies and the establishment of standard processes and tools.
  • Coordinate logistics activities for designated projects, developing solutions that consider trade-offs in design, repair capabilities, and training.
  • Support the creation of logistics analysis products and documentation.
  • Conduct research and analysis to aid in the development of comprehensive logistics support programs.
  • Compile and assess test data to define appropriate limits and variables for specifications.
  • Engage in projects that define and select innovative concepts to enhance life cycle support costs.
  • Identify logistics challenges and collaborate on solutions for moderately complex issues, adhering to established policies and practices.
  • Participate in planning and review sessions to discuss costs, schedules, and technical performance.
  • Contribute to contract negotiations and modifications as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations during business operations.
  • Work safely and in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree and three or more years of progressive experience in logistics management is typically required.
  • Experience in developing logistics products such as Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA) and Level of Repair Analysis (LoRA) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of acquisition logistics management concepts and principles.
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills are essential for documenting and presenting findings.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and database tools is necessary.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.

Work Environment: This position may require travel and will involve a hybrid work style.
