Position Summary: This role is pivotal in the planning and execution of acquisition logistics strategies and processes. Under general supervision, the individual will contribute to the achievement of customer objectives, ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the formulation of acquisition logistics strategies and the establishment of standardized processes and tools.
  • Coordinate logistics activities for designated projects, developing solutions that consider trade-offs in design, repair capabilities, and training.
  • Support the creation of logistics analysis products and documentation.
  • Conduct research and analysis to develop comprehensive logistics support programs.
  • Compile and assess test data to determine specifications for processes or materials.
  • Engage in projects that define and select innovative concepts for improved life cycle support.
  • Identify logistics challenges and collaborate on solutions for moderately complex issues, optimizing costs and performance.
  • Participate in planning sessions to review costs, schedules, and technical performance.
  • Contribute to contract negotiations and modifications as necessary.

Compliance and Safety: Responsible for adhering to all applicable laws and regulations while conducting business on behalf of the company. Expected to maintain a safe working environment in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree with three or more years of progressive experience in logistics management, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in developing logistics products such as Maintenance Task Analysis and Level of Repair Analysis.
  • Strong understanding of acquisition logistics management principles and the ability to organize and coordinate work effectively.
  • Proven analytical skills to identify issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills for documenting and presenting findings to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and database tools is essential.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.

Work Environment: This position may require travel and is expected to support a hybrid workstyle.
