Position Summary: This role involves contributing to the formulation and management of logistics acquisition strategies, processes, and tools under general supervision. The incumbent will play a vital role in supporting customer objectives to ensure that projects are executed efficiently and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of acquisition logistics strategies and standard processes.
  • Coordinate logistics activities for various projects, balancing trade-offs in design, repair capabilities, and training needs.
  • Contribute to the creation of logistics analysis documents and reports.
  • Conduct research and evaluations to aid in the establishment of comprehensive logistics support programs.
  • Analyze test data to determine specifications for processes and materials.
  • Engage in projects aimed at defining and selecting innovative concepts to enhance life cycle support costs.
  • Identify logistics challenges and collaborate on solutions for moderately complex issues, adhering to established policies and practices.
  • Participate in planning sessions to review costs, schedules, and technical performance.
  • Support contract negotiations and modifications as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations during business operations.
  • Work safely in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications:

Typically requires a bachelor’s degree along with three or more years of progressive experience in logistics management. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Experience in developing logistics products such as Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Level of Repair Analysis (LoRA), and Spares Analysis is essential.

Strong understanding of acquisition logistics management principles, with proven skills in organizing and coordinating work to meet project deadlines.

Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are required to effectively document and present findings to various stakeholders.

Ability to manage projects independently or as part of a team is crucial, along with proficiency in relevant software and database tools.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.

Work Environment: This position may require travel and is expected to adhere to a hybrid work style.
